Around the time you are taking your third weekly dose, you should be receiving a message in your patient portal — or via email or text message — that talks about renewal. The renewal involves a quick questionnaire that allows your provider to renew your prescription (or even increase your dosage) without the need for a video call.
In rare cases, patients may have to see a provider in order to discuss side effects before a prescription can be rewritten. If your renewal has been approved, we will let you know via text or email. Also: if you’re on compounded medication and moving up in dosage, a member of the team will reach out to you to confirm if you are okay with the increase in medication cost and if it is okay to charge your payment method on file.
