How can I troubleshoot my sound or video settings for my appointment?

The purpose of this article is to show you how to unblock video conferencing options for your camera and microphone during an online doctor appointment. This article will be divided into different device/browser options.

When you open a video conference on your device via a browser window you will need to allow access to the video conference. In LifeMD you will see a popup prompting you to Allow the video conference.

If you inadvertently click or tap Block you will need to do one of the following set of browser instructions to allow your video conference appointment.

Chrome - Android & Desktop

  • Click the video icon in the upper right corner and select Allow.

Chrome - iOS

  • Refresh the page and select Allow if prompted.

Safari - Mobile & Desktop

  • Refresh the page and select Allow if prompted.

Edge - Desktop

  • Select the lock icon near the right side of your search bar.
  • Select the drop-down menu next to camera and microphone. 
  • Change the camera and microphone access to Allow.
