What does insurance cover at LifeMD?

Patients with eligible insurance plans may have all virtual visits with a LifeMD provider covered by their insurance.

During intake, LifeMD will ask for your insurance information to verify that your plan can be accepted. This information will then be passed along to the pharmacy that will process your prescription.

If your insurance plan is accepted, it may cover the cost of your virtual appointment. However, the cost of your LifeMD membership will not be covered and any prescribed medication coverage will depend on your diagnosis and insurance plan.

To note, medications are generally not covered except in cases of type 2 diabetes and in some cases of pre-diabetes.

Please note that insurance coverage for virtual visits with LifeMD can vary depending on diagnosis. It’s possible that your insurance company may decide not to cover the cost of a virtual visit based on their specific policies and criteria.

Unfortunately, this decision is beyond LifeMD's control. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your coverage details. If you have any further questions or need assistance, reach out to us at (800) 735-2176.
